Trying to avoid my boyfriend... hoping to see my other lover

A and I got to school with just a little time to spare before school. It had only been about six hours since we had seen Dante and Jackson, but I was missing Dante like no other. I knew I shouldn't, but I couldn't help the way I was feeling about him. I was sure Lucas was showering after practice... maybe I could catch Dante in his office before class. I put my books in my locker and turned, running right into... "Lucas..." I swallowed, hugging my books for first hour and my binder against my chest, taking a deep breath. "Hey..."

I swear the coaches had worked us ten times worse than everyone else but I decided to let it go. My girl was home today. That's all that mattered. So, after practice I decided to take a shower, only because I had worked out so damn hard I thought I'd die, which meant I was sure I wasn't smelling all that fantastic and I didn't want my first time in days seeing my girl to be smelling like a pig. I tossed my bag over my shoulder and tried to ignore how sore I was. When I caught site of Bianca at her liquor my smile grew and I moved quicker toward her. She turned and ran right into me. I grabbed her arms, steadying her. "Well, hello there pretty girl. You have no idea how much I missed you!" I leaned in, giving her a deep kiss to show her how much I had missed her.

I blinked, not even having a chance to think before Lucas kissed me. I pulled back, my breath gone from sheer surprise. "Hey... How was practice?" I hugged my books tighter to my chest, looking down the hall past him to A with Jeff... So much for avoidance.

"Good," I notice the cut on her forehead that most of her hair was covering. I brushed it back and looked it over. "What happened? Did you fall or something?" I let my finger graze slightly over it. "That doesn't look good. You okay?"

I inhaled slowly, wincing. I hadn't wanted him to see that. I just wanted to go through the day without anyone noticing it. Of course, A knew about it, and Dante... He had been the one to clean it up, but I didn't want to focus on it. "I'm fine. A and I got into a little accident. We're fine. Seriously, that was the worst of it. We're fine."

I glanced down the hall to my brother and Abby and then back to Bianca. "Are you sure? Should you even be here? Why didn't you call me? I could have came to get you. I mean come to think of it you didn't answer any of my texts.. or my calls.. did something happen to your phone?"

"Weather wasn't so good, we didn't have cell service. It rained almost all the time we were up there. But I'm fine. I promise. I need to get to class," I said, rocking back and forth on my heels.

"Let me walk you." I said, sliding my hands up and down her arms. She seemed so tense. "Want me to carry your books?"

I tried to smile up at him, it coming out a little weakly. "Sure..." I said, handing him my books and crossing my arms back over my breasts, rocking more on my heels.

I was startled by Mr. Frost's sudden voice booming in my head but turned to him when I heard her. "Inappropriate how so? I was just touching her arm... and taking her books.."
