Where are they?

I parked the car and helped Abigail out before picking Kyle up and rushing with her into the hospital. We came up to the ER nurses' station. "Someone called and said that Dante Castellano and Jeff Cavallari were brought in here. Where are they?" The nurse looked up and said that they were each alright, just in a public dispute, knocked out. They'll both be sore for a while, but they will be able to go home soon. She told us each which rooms they were in and I looked down at Abigail, rubbing her back. "Good luck, baby!" I leaned over, kissing the side of her head and let her go find Jeff. I went to find my brother. Knocking on the door, I slowly opened it. He was asleep, so I quietly shut the door and walked over, sitting down on the chair beside the bed, whispering to Kyle, "Just let him sleep, buddy." Kyle nodded and we sat waiting.

I shifted in the bed, waking up as the door opened. I was expecting to see a nurse, but it was Abigail. "Caramella?" I looked around and back at her. "What's going on? What are you doing here?"

"Thanks, Jackson." I smiled, watching him walk away before heading over to Jeff's room, my heart beating crazy in my chest. "I was called. They said you were in an accident. Well, a dispute of some kind." I sat down on the edge of his bed, taking his hand, kissing the knuckles. "What happened? Do you remember anything?"

"Shit," I mumbled under my breath, shifting slightly. "My fucking head." I reached a hand up to touch my head but stopped myself. "Uncle D!" I cracked an eye open, smiling lazily when I saw Kyle climbing up on my bed. "Watch your dirty mouth!" He laughed, and I gave him a hug, glancing over at Jackson. "Well, ain't you a site for sore eyes.." I smiled. I wasn't even sure how I got in the hospital or why my head was sore but I wasn't going to complain much, the drugs were wonderful.

I nodded. I remembered everything. I wish I didn't. I had let Dante down twice today. "Dante and I went after Julius Luis." I knew that would confuse her, so I continued. "He took advantage of Bianca's amnesia and has taken her."

"Hey, man. How are you feeling?" I rubbe Kyle's back. "What happened? Why are you here?"

"Oh, my... God." My eyes widened. "Did he do this.. to you? And to Dante?" I reached my hand up to touch his head and stopped. "Wait, took her? Where? Where's Bianca? Did you guys get her back?"

I raised my eyebrow. "I'm trying to think. My brain is fuzzy." I scrubbed a hand over my face. "I can't remember. It had to do with Bianca I think." I sat up some, ruffling Kyle's hair.

I was ashamed to answer. I knew it would be letting her down as well. "No. He knocked both of us out. I am sorry, Abigail."

"ZhiZhi?" I shook my head. "Weren't you taking her home today?"

"Don't be sorry." I kissed his knuckles, smiling at him. I had to get to Jules house and quickly because I knew how he worked. I knew he'd leave town with my cousin and not look back if she had no clue who she was. I had no idea what the hell I liked about the bastard in the first place. "Jeff," I heard Carly's voice at the doorway, she looked like a mess, her pajama's on, her hair wild all over in a half pony tail, her eyes red from crying I'm sure, and slippers. It was like she ran all the way here. "Carly," I smiled, walking over, hugging her tightly. "Go ahead and visit with him." I glanced back at Jeff. "I'm sorry Jeff. I have to get my cousin. Please understand... I love you and I'm glad your okay..." I turned and walked out of the room. I hated leaving him but I had to stop Julius from taking my cousin. I got inside the elevator, took it down and hailed myself a cab.

My heart didn't settle at all the entire drive to the hospital. I drove as fast as I could, not even bothering dressing before rushing out the door. I had never felt this sorta fear before. I loved Jeff. God help me I did. I had heard through the grape vine he and Abigail were getting married and God that hurt worse than anything but I had to make sure he was okay.. with my own eyes. I rushed out of the elevator, coming to a quick stop at his doorway, my eyes bubbling with new tears when I saw him with Abby. I barely got out a hello before she was gone. I stepped more in the room. "I.. I was so scared for you." I whispered, my voice shaking.

"Yes," I said slowly. "Yes, I was. But someone took her. A man came and took her... fed her lies I'm sure." I thought about it. "Julius. He did it." I started pushing at my covers and found the more I did the dizzier I got. "Damn it... I have to get Bianca..." I had no idea where Jules lived. But I was going to ask Jeff and look. "Uncle D! You're wearing a dress and I seeee it!"

I sat up more, reaching out for her hand. I helped her sit on the bed. "I'm glad you're here, Dulce. You look so beautiful!"

I couldn't help but laugh at Kyle, but only shortly. "Not now, Buddy." I turned to Dante. "Hey, man. You sure you're feeling up to this? You wouldn't be here if what happened didn't warrant you here..." I shook my head. Who am I kidding, if this was Abigail, I wouldn't let anything stop me. I looked for his clothes. "Ok, but if you fall, I'm gonna laugh at your ass." Kyle laughed, and I handed Dante his pants.

"Jeff, don't say that stuff to me.." I sighed. "What happened? And why is Abby looking for my sister?" I let a hand rest on my stomach as I sat on the edge of his bed and watched him. He looked okay but looks could be perceiving.

I was glad he stopped trying to talk me out of what I was doing because I was about to tell him to fuck off and mind his business, in front of his kid no less. However he was nice enough to drop it and hand me my pants so I refrained. "Thanks." I told Jackson. I tugged my jeans up, tossing the dress as Kyle had called it off, tugging the IV out of my arm. "Jesus Mary that hurt like a bitch!" Kyle laughed. "His dress comes off and he swears like a sailor." I laughed. "Oh hush it squirt." He laughed as I tugged my shirt on.

"I have no doubt I will be fired as Bianca's guard. I've let her down. I let Dante down. I let all of you down. I let Julius Luis come in and take Bianca away."

"We're good at that, buddy." I reached for his shoes, handing them to him. "What do you mean Jules took ZhiZhi?"

"What?" I asked, seeing the sadness and pain in his eyes. "What do you mean let her get taken? I don't see you allowing that to happen.." I seen the bandaide on his head and gently touched it. "He hurt you and took her... and you... let Abby what... go after him?" I glanced back at the door. "Surely Julius only hit you because your a guy, right? He did hit you right?" I wasn't sure what happened.

"Thanks." I slid my shoes on and stopped to breathe. "Have you not been listening?!" I said, standing straight and taking a few deep breaths. "He came to the hospital. Took her and left. We got in a fight and he managed to get away with her. I hate that rotten son of a bitch. I hope he dies and birds eat his eyes." Kyle stopped dead, his eyes wide. "Yuck!"

I turned my head down. "I should have seen it coming... He cracked a bottle over my head." It actually hurt quite a bit, but I wasn't going to tell her that.

"Forget about the birds, buddy. Lets help your uncle out to the car." Kyle helped me and I helped Dante out of the room. A nurse came running up to us. "You can't be out of bed!"

"Oh, Jeff." I whispered, letting my hands rest on his neck. "It'll be okay. I promise." I gave him a hug, holding him tightly. "Bianca's okay. Julius would never hurt her. We'll find her."

I turned facing the nurse. "I don't care. I have to get Bianca. I'm leaving." She grabbed my arm. "Please, you need to rest!" I shook my head, which was a bad idea because it made me even dizzier. "You have a concussion! Please!" I swayed slightly, gripping to Jackson. "No.. Bianca.. Jackson.. I have to get her." I felt sick to my stomach and struggled to stay up. "If you care about him at all you'll take him back to his room!" The nurse snapped at Jackson. At least I think that's what she said I was starting to black out.
