The parkkkkkk

"Hey Foster," I said smiling when his door swung open. "Give me a second to get my books and we'll walk over to the park." I nodded, rubbing my arms and watching as he disappeared back in the house. When he came out, he had his bag with him and we started to walk. We didn't talk much outside math before getting to the park. Once we got to the park, his coffee in hand and my hot chocolate the topic turned to more than math.

"So, how's Jackson?" I shifted slightly. "He's great. Thanks for asking." He nodded, glancing back down to his math book. "What about eh... you? I mean you missed school." I glanced up at him. "I'm fine I just didn't feel well. Nothing major." He nodded and went back to his math. When we were halfway through the math problems and the wind started picking up I glanced up at Foster. "Is it just me or is it getting cold?" He nodded. "Not just you. Here." He tugged his jacket off, reaching over to put it around my shoulders. I smiled brightly. "Thank you, Foster." He nodded. "You're welcome." We both went back to finishing the math problems.

I didn't know who the goddamned text was from, but I knew where the fucking picture was taken. Why the hell she didn't even tell me she was goin to see him... "Probably because she knew I'd be pissed!" I mumbled as I threw on my shirt and grabbed my keys, walking out the door. I hopped into the 'Stang and drove straight for the park. I was pissed... "Why in the fuck does she think she has to lie to me?" I sighed heavily, trying to stay focused on my driving.

I pulled up along the curb at the park, seeing them there at that picnic table. I left the keys in the ignition. I stormed over to the table, placing my hands on the table, gripping it tightly. "Hello, WIFE..."

I was just about to ask Abby if she wanted one of the snack in my bag when I heard screeching of tires behind Abby. She didn't seem to notice, only kept her eyes on the book. I however could see the big dumb pound of flesh heading our way and knew he was about to make an ass of himself, again.

I jumped in my seat, my hand flying to my chest when I heard Jackson's obviously unhappy voice. And when I glanced back and saw his stang still running and the door hung wide open for anyone to pop in and drive away in I could tell just how pissed he was. I glanced over at Foster and back to Jackson, wondering what to say or do... "Hi, husband..." I said slowly. "Can I help you?" I could tell he was mad.... I just wasn't sure about what.

I looked over at her, my head turned slightly to the side. "Oh, I don't know? Can you help me?" I turned my head over to look at Foster. "Or are you toooooo busy tutoring this sonuvabitch?" I turned my head back to my wife, lifting my brown slightly in question. "You gave up a morning alone with me to spend with him? Really? Oh! Oh!! And you didn't even decided to tell me you were coming to spend time with him. Is that... oh, I don't know, maybe because you knew I wouldn't like it? Hmmm?" Ok, so I was being a royal dick, but she KNEW how much I hated this motherfucker. Why the hell she was hiding things from me know, I'd never know.

I shook my head, looking down at my book, trying to give them privacy, well, trying to make it LOOK like I was. After all their problems wren't my issue. Or at least I was going to pretend they weren't.

"Excuse us a second, Foster." He looked up at us. "No problem. Go ahead." I nodded, thanking him and standing up. I grabbed Jackson's arm, tugging him away from Foster and over toward a tree. "Why are you acting like this? I told you I was tutoring this morning! Why does it matter who the hell it is!" I never swore before I met him... but it just sorta fit me now... fit us, it especially fit our situation. "You knew I tutored people before we ever even thought of getting together. You knew this! This wasn't a secret!"

"No, but you know how much I hate that motherfucker!" I said, not bothering to keep my voice down. "You know how much I hate him and yet you still left without telling me who you were coming to tutor because you knew I wouldn't like it! Especially after what happened the other day!" I shook my head. "Jesus Christ, Abigail! Does how I feel mean NOTHING to you?!?"

"First off, since when do I have to tell you who I'm seeing? And you have no reason to hate him! He's done nothing to you! Nothing! And the other day? Really? That was because of Tony! Because of you! You and I know that! That wasn't because of Foster! And of course your feelings matter but this is part of who I am! I tutor! I help people! You knew that marrying me! It's not like we're hanging out and playing video games and talking about Sunday night football! We're tutoring! That's it!"

"Why do I even have to have a reason for hating him? What I tell you isn't good enough for you. You don't believe what I tell you about him in the first place!" I shook my head. "You know what? Enjoy your tutoring! I hope it is worth giving up time with your husband! Thanks." I shook my head at her. God, if I was hanging out with Tina Parker... Tina! That bitch! She was the one who sent that text! That conniving blondezilla. "I think I'm going to go pay Tina Parker a visit. Have a nice day, wife." I turned and headed back toward my 'Stang.

My mouth fell open, my chest doing a strange flip flopping thing as I watched him walk away. Did he really just say what I think he said? I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, holding back the tears threatening to spill out. I turned and walked back over to the bench. I sat down and opened up my book again. "You okay?" I nodded weakly, a tear rolling down my cheek. "I'm fine. Let's just study." He nodded, looking down at his book. "Not that it's worth much but you deserve better than him." I glanced up at Foster. "Let's just study so I can go home, okay?"

I slammed my door hard and pulled out my phone, texting Tina back and driving off. God, I was fucking pissed, so pissed, I was seeing red.
