Salty sea air, wind in your face...

I'd never been on a cruise before. But when A and D said they were going on a cruise and they wanted to bring Jackie and me along, as expensive as it was, we said yes. Besides, they had said it was a birthday gift. Even though Jackie's was back in January or ahead in January, either way, but we accepted anyway. Our bags had already been brought up by the steward, but I didn't feel like unpacking right now. I walked over to the balcony and walked out the open doors, looking out over the water. We haven't left port yet, but the water was beautiful. I felt Jackson's arms wrap around me from behind and I closed my eyes, laying back in his arms. "Expensive honeymoon we never took?"

Pops owned a boat, and every summer when I was younger, we'd take some time away and fly down to Florida, set sail out of Key West and stay out on the ocean for days. Of course that was before they became Bianca's foster parents. Bianca hadn't been out on more than a gondola when we went down to New Port Beach for our anniversary a few years ago. She loved it, so I knew she was going to have an amazing time here on this cruise. I followed Binx out onto the balcony and wrapped my arms around her, kissing the side of her head. "About time, huh?" I laughed, looking out over the water with her. "It's really beautiful, isn't it?"

I turned around in his arms and wrapped my own arms around his neck. "I'm glad we're here together, Jackie. There isn't anyone else I'd rather share this with. I love you." I pulled his head down to mine, kissing him before he could even say a word.

I wrapped my arms around her, laying her up against the railing of the balcony, deepening our kiss. When we both needed air, I looked down into her dark eyes. "I love you, babe. Nothing will ever change that."

My guilt had all but went away from what I had done, but it wasn't ruling my life anymore. That didn't mean that Jackson was ever going to know about it. If he did, that statement wouldn't be so true. "Come on," I whispered, taking his hand and pulling him back into the cabin. "Lets get ready for dinner." We both got ready and headed out toward A and D's cabin, which was right next door to ours.
