Nice and warm

We came down the path toward the cabin, slipping and sliding a little in the mud the closer we got to the cabin. I did my best to keep myself and Abigail from getting stuck, or falling flat on our asses. When we got up to the porch, I started to kick my boots off on the wood, reaching in my pocket to pull out my keys to open the door. I found my keys and unlocked the door, reaching in to turn on the light before holding the door open for them. "You take care of her," I told my brother, turning to Abigail. "There's a closet with blankets upstairs by the bathroom. You can bring some blankets down and I'll get the first aid kit for your sister." I turned back to my brother. "And then I'll get the fire started while you take care of her.

"Will do." I said, walking over to the couch. I used one hand to lay the throw blanket over the couch, only so she didn't get the couch wet and freeze. I kicked my boots off at the doorway, tugged my jacket off and hung it up. I slid my shirt up and over my head, knowing I was better off without it. I tossed it aside and leaned down to untie Bianca's shoes. I tossed them aside and grabbed the throw blanket off the chair near me and covered her up with it. I would have taken the rest of her clothes off so she could get warm but that wouldn't be right to do so I decided to wait on her sister.

"Okay. Will do." I said, coming inside. I leaned down, tugging my shoes off and tossing them aside. I tugged my wet jacket off and hung it on the hook next to Mr. Frost's. I jogged up the steps, coming to the closet. I tugged the towels out. I'd shower as soon as B got warm. I ran back down the steps and came over to Mr. Frost. "Here." I said, handing him the towels for Bianca. "Here, get her clothes off and dry. I'm going to go and see what's in the kitchen to make for food.. okay?" Mr. Frost said before walking into the kitchen. "Okay." I leaned down, getting B's leggings off an tossing those aside. I wiped her legs off the best I could without her getting in the shower. I let a dry towel lay over her legs before lifting her slightly and tugging her sweater off. I tossed that aside, dried her off and wrapped her tightly in the towel. After she was wrapped up tight so you couldn't see her practically naked I pulled the blanket over her and dried her hair off. "I'm sorry, B." I said softly.

I came down with the first aid kit, seeing Dante head off toward the kitchen and Abigail undressing her sister. I averted my gaze, setting the first aid kit down on the table behind the couch before pulling off my jacket and letting it rest on the chair beside the doorway to the kitchen. I walked around the Samms sisters, not watching as Abigail tried to get her sister warm the best she could. I crouched down in front of the fireplace and tugged my shirt off over my head, tossing it onto the hearth, reaching for a few logs, tossing them inside the fireplace. I stood, taking the diesel off the mantle and squirting some onto the wood before grabbing the matches and starting the fire. "There. Should be warm in no time." I told Abigail, standing and walking past her. "I'll be right back." I walked into the kitchen to find Dante making something for us to eat. "I got the first aid kit and the fire is going."

I slowly started to stir, feeling the warmth in the room and turned my head slightly. I saw A sitting next to me and smiled. "Hey. Did I fall asleep?" I hadn't even noticed that we were in someone else's cabin and not our own yet. I was still half asleep.

I heard Jackson and turned to look at him as I put the tea pot full of water on the flame. "Okay, once I got this water for the hot water going I'll go and fix her cut." I opened two cans of chicken noodle soup, dumping both in a pan and putting it on a boil. "Did you check the phones?"

"We had an accident. Mr. Frost the health teacher carried you back from the car. Do you remember anything?" I asked, sitting closer to her and smiling. "Thankfully they were here or I'd be scared to death.. they made me.. feel safe. Even when you fainted.."

I shook my head, walking over and picking the phone up off the hook, lifting it to my ear. Looking over at him, I shook my head. "No dial tone." I don't even know why people have landlines anymore. I mean, yeah, they're good if you don't have cell service, but when they're both down, what's the use of any of them. I finally realized why Pops never had a cell phone, but still, relying on a landline wasn't good either.

"I fainted?" I didn't remember that. I sat up slowly, looking around, but then decided to lay back down, my head still feeling light. I could remember my head hurting in the car, but that was about it. "Where are we?"

"The Frost brothers cabin. They walked with us here. You're naked under there sorta by the way.. it's freezing.. and you were wet.. and well, yeah, I got you undressed. Just relax, Mr. Frost is going to come back in and fix the cut on your head. Which is why I think you fainted. Are you feeling sick at all? Dizzy or anything?" I asked, shivering slightly.

"Damn we might be stuck till they fix the phones." I took a step back. "I think we got clothes in the closets upstairs from Emily Grace and Guin we can let the girls borrow. We might just have to stick it out, the four of us." I grabbed some bowls and mugs out of the cabinets.

I nodded my head, taking a deep breath and looking back toward the living room. "I'll go look for some clothes. The girls will probably want to take a shower, we should let them first. I'll lay some pajamas out on the beds upstairs if I can find any." Hopefully I could find something warm enough for both of them to wear. The fire should warm up the house quickly enough, and the heaters in the bedrooms would work well. I left the kitchen and came out to see the sisters talking. "Oh, good. You're awake. Mr. Frost will be out in a moment to check on your head, Miss B," I said, using the name everyone at school called her. "I'm going to go upstairs and see if I can find something for you two to change into. You can take a shower after we eat and then we'll figure out sleeping. Just sit tight. I'll be right back down." I told them as I headed up the stairs to go about my tasks.

I felt my forehead, remembering the cut or whatever, but finding the blood now dried there. I looked at my hand anyway, finding it dry. "Just a little light headed." Mr. Frost came into the room and I pulled the blanket more over myself. He told us what was going on and headed upstairs. I turned back to look at A. "You all are alright? No one else was hurt?"

I poured the soup into bowls for everyone, cutting up some french bread, putting it on plates. I put all the bowls on a try with the bread, as well as cups of hot coco I made for everyone and headed to the living room. I set the tray down on the table near the girls. "Here's some soup and hot coco it will help you warm up even more." I walked back over to the counter, grabbing the first aide kit. I thanked Abigail as she moved, sitting on the edge of the couch and taking out some cleaning wipes. "This might sting a little, okay?" I was going to clean up her cut and get it covered before eating. That way I was satisfied she was okay.

"Not that I know of. We all seem to be okay. Except for your head." I heard Mr. Frost, gave him a smile and moved out of the way so he could fix B's cut. I sat down on the floor, taking a bowl of soup, a piece of bread and a hot coco. "Thank you, Mr. Frost." I said, smiling, looking off in the direction the other Mr. Frost had went. Both were shirtless.. but for some reason the other Frost really made my mouth water. He was a very sexy man..

I laid there silently as Mr. Frost cleaned up my cut. I'd never seen him, or the other Mr. Frost without a shirt before. I'm sure Luke and Jeff did all the time in gym class or at basketball practices, but ... if I wasn't feeling lightheaded before, I was now. Mr. Dante Frost was yummy. I closed my eyes, disbelieving I had just thought that. But even when I closed my eyes, I saw him, and boy did he look gooood! Opening my eyes, I spoke to him quietly. "Thank you for helping us, Mr. Frost. I don't know what we would have done if you and Mr. Frost hadn't been here. Thank you."

I came down the stairs, clapping my hands together. "Well, you're in luck, we've got some clothes for you. They're waiting for you upstairs when you're done eating and you want to shower." I came over and sat down on the chair beside where Abigail was sitting on the floor. "You like the floor, Miss Abigail?" I picked up a bowl of soup and some bread, laying it on bowl and picking up a cup of hot chocolate, sitting back against the chair to eat.

I turned my head slightly, looking up at Mr. Frost, setting my bowl on the table. "I do. Easier to eat, Mr. Frost." I gave him a soft smile turning back to my bowl, taking a bite of my soup. It helped, loads. But I was still in wet clothes and freezing. But, at least the soup was helping my teeth not chatter as much as they had been.

"No need for thank you's." I told her, ripping open the bandage. "This is water proof so you can take a shower with no worries. But you should change the bandage tomorrow morning. I'll help you as soon as we both get up. Because we're sadly stuck here till at least morning girls. You guys can take the guest bedroom and sleep there and Jackson and I will take our rooms if you're okay with that?" I asked, putting the bandage over her cut and smoothing it out gently. I brushed her hair back some, gave her a smile and reached for her bowl. I set her cup of coco on the table stand next to her and handed her her bowl. "There you go."

I noticed she was still shaking a little from being cold and I sat my bowl down, reaching over and grabbing the blanket off the back of this chair. The blanket from the other chair was already wrapped around the younger Samms sister. Reaching over, I wrapped the blanket around her shoulders. Rubbing my hands up and down over her arms over the blanket, I turned slightly to look in her face. "Any better? The fire should be working soon enough. As soon as you're eating you can go take a hot shower to really warm up." I paused, slowly pulling my arms back, reaching forward to pick up my bowl again. Did I seriously just think about her in the shower like that. Clearing my throat, I took a bite of my soup, just to have something to occupy my mouth after that.

I accepted the bowl of soup, smiling softly over at him. I can't believe I was thinking he was yummy. Well, he is, but that's not fair to Luke. Lucas is my Angel and he always will be, and here I am thinking about my teacher. Noticing the ring on his hand, I picked up my hot chocolate and took a long drink, even though it was almost hot enough to burn my tongue. I was thinking my married teacher was yummy. Pulling the cup down, I looked over at him, swallowing, my mouth feeling dry, even though I'd just had a drink. What was wrong with me? I remembered he asked me a question, and I quickly thought, what was it? Oh. "Yes, guest room is fine."

I heard Abigail mutter a yes and turned back to Bianca, her sister, smiling when she said yes. "Great." I said, sliding to sit down on the floor and picked up my spoon. I couldn't believe we were now stranded here with two young girls. Two very beautiful girls.. which I knew was a bad idea to think but.. I mean.. really.. they were. Especially Bianca.. and it was hard not to think they were beautiful. But thinking they were pretty wasn't a crime, right? Just as long as I didn't touch. No harm, no foul.

"Thanks." I said, trying to ignore the way his eyes looked at me. I mean I was imagining the way they changed when he said shower, right? "Right.." I said, slowly. Of course I was imagining it. I turned my eyes forward, eating another bite of my soup. We all ate mostly in silence before I excused myself to go shower. I took a quick one so B could get in and walked into the bedroom to find my clothes. I changed into the ones laid out for me and came down the steps. "Go ahead, B." I told her, going into the kitchen. "I'll do the dishes for you guys.." I said, coming to the kitchen that had empty bowls stacked in the sink.

I smiled at A and stood up, the blanket started to slip and I quickly grabbed it so that it didn't fall completely off. I was feeling slightly better, not so dizzy, thanks to the food. "I'll be back down," I told Mr. Frost, since he was the only one left in the room. I walked over to the stairs, stumbling a little as I stepped up the stairs, tripping on the blanket I was holding around me.

I looked up as Abigail excused herself into the kitchen. "I'll help you," I said, standing up and following her into the kitchen. "Tell you what. You wash, I'll dry. Sound like a good idea?"
