I thanked C as she left, looking over at Dante. I hoped he was alright and he didn't feel like he had to walk on eggshells with me anymore. "Hi." I sat up slightly in the bed more. "They came and ran tests on me. Do you know how still you have to stay in them?" I asked, laughing a bit. Patting the bed, I asked, "Come sit with me... please."

"Sure.." I said, walking over and taking a seat with her. "I hope you didn't mind but I haven't slept well in a long time so I ran down the street to get coffee. That doesn't upset you, right? You don't feel like I deserted you or anything.. right?" I was worried slightly after what Jackson said.

I shook my head slightly, a little confused. "No. I don't... I don't feel like that. I have no reason to be upset. Do you need to sleep? ... How long have I been out? Have you been with me the entire time? Is that why you haven't slept?"

"Ten days.. and I haven't slept because my anxiety has been high.. I've been worried about you. Sleeping doesn't come easy. That's not your fault. Honestly. It's just how I feel.. I was so edgy I couldn't sleep. Don't worry about me.."

I let my shoulders lift in a soft shrug. "Why shouldn't I? I mean, you said we are together, right? And we share a ... a daughter. Just because I can't remember things about my life, people and such doesn't mean I don't have feelings. It means a lot to me that you were here for me." I gave him a soft smile. "It means a lot that my sister and my cousin came when they did too, I mean, especially considering C says that our parents aren't worth it. They're not here, and I just thought that parents would care enough to want to be their for their child after something like this happens."

"I appreciate you worrying about me but I'm fine." I said honestly. I was not that she was awake. "As for your parents. They've never been the parents you deserve. The parents you need. They're selfish.. I suppose. In their own right.. they weren't the worst in the world.. but they're pretty bad. I can't believe Carly actually spoke about your parents like that.. she's always seen them as the moon and stars."

I shook my head. "I don't know why she told me that, but she said they were pretty worthless. But I guess we all have to see things in a new light sometime, don't we?" I smiled. "Who knows? Maybe this happening to me was to show me that I need to see things in a new light. I can't tell you what, considering I don't know what I don't know, but maybe I do."

"I know this happened to help me see in a new light.. I'm not sure it was for you.. I think it was more my test then yours.." I shrugged, smiling slightly. "But don't worry about that. You've been overloaded with enough today."

"I'm alright. I promise you." I smiled softly at him, tucking my hair behind my ear, giving a disgusted look. "Oh, my! My hair needs to be washed." I bit my lip, narrowing my eyes softly on him, feeling a little bit of a butterflyish feeling in my stomach... "Um... Do you think you could wash my hair for me? I don't know if I could do it. I don't know how bad my wound is, and I can't really see it if I'm going to wash my hair..."

My eyes opened wide, my heart doing it a flip at her question. I coughed, trying to find my voice. "Sure.. I mean we could wait for your sister.. or cousin.. but sure.. if you really.." I cleared my throat. "want too?"

I swallowed. My heart was starting to beat a million miles a second, but I didn't know why. I mean, if we're together, this shouldn't be that big of a deal, right? "You're my... boyfriend? right? We share a daughter. I don't see why you can't do it. And I really don't want to wait. It's really nasty. Ten days? That's a lot of nastiness."

"Sure.." I slid off the bed, pulling her covers back and lifting her up off the bed. I brought her cords along, knowing the nurse said they were set up for things like this and carried her toward the bathroom. Thankfully it was a tub so she could sit and not get too winded. I helped her on her feet holding her and undoing the ties to her hospital gown. I flipped the warm water on, letting it fill with water. "Can you step in the tub? Or do you need my help?"

The butterflies kept flitting in my stomach, causing me to bite my lip more and more. I pulled the gown off and laid it on one of the towel bars, reaching forward for the bar for handicapped access into the tub. "I may need a little help," I told him, feeling a little weak.

"Sure.." I said, swallowing hard. I lifted her up some, setting her down in the water and smiling. "There you go.." I turned, grabbing the soap to wash her up. "Okay, I see the wound so I'm going to try and avoid it okay? Just relax and enjoy." I grabbed the plastic pink cup in the other room and brought it back. I scooped up some of the water, pouring it over her head, getting her hair wet. I was trying not to stare.. but it was kinda hard considering she had such a beautiful body.

I had to close my eyes so I didn't focus on his eyes, and the way he was looking at me. I couldn't remember being naked in front of him, I didn't remember him, so how could I ever remember being naked with him. But I knew I had to be at least once, considering we had a baby. A daughter. Swallowing, I thought we could talk about her... it would keep my mind off the way I was feeling in my stomach. "Can you," I said, taking a deep breath, trying to steady myself, "tell me about... Tamara? Is that her name? Our daughter?"

"I sure can." I said, smiling. I put a little bit of shampoo in her head, gently scrubbing it in. "She's smart. Sassy. She loves sports. Especially football. She's not a huge fan of girly things. She likes them.. but she much prefers getting dirty.. she's got a mouth on her. Sometimes I think she needs a bar of soap to munch on.." I laughed. "She's beautiful. My eyes. Your hair.. my smile.. she's perfect. And she loves us.. she misses you." She had been angry at her mama but she did miss her. All the time. "Oh, and she likes stuffed animals. She got that from you. It's the only thing about her girly."

I smiled up at him, reaching out my hand to touch him softly, even though it was wet. "Do you think... I'd like to meet her." Biting my lip, I thought. "But I don't want her to see me all hospitalled up... Do you think you could... I don't know, bring me some of my clothes or something so I could be dressed, and maybe A or C could come do my hair and makeup for me so I don't scare Tamara?"

"Yes, tomorrow.. she can see you tomorrow. It's sorta late right now.. and she's probably sleeping. But i can do that for you tomorrow. For her.. she'd want to see you." I smiled, putting her hand down in the water. I didn't want to explain to her what her touching me did. I wasn't taking a chance with her.. not when she just woke up and I knew sometimes I couldn't control myself. I lifted the water, washing the shampoo out and grabbing the conditioner. I was sure she could use some. I dumped some in my hand and started massaging it gently in.

I smiled up at him. I still had the butterflies in my stomach, and I didn't think they'd go away, not while I was like this in front of him, but that was alright. I kinda liked the feeling. "Thank you, Dante... Can you... uh, make sure I don't mess up? Like, make sure I don't say anything stupid that would scare her. I want to be the mommy she knows, not someone who doesn't know anything." I bit my lip, taking a breath... "But... uh, is it bad, lying to her, telling her I'm alright if I'm not really?"

"Yes. Trust me.. I learned the hard way lying to Tammy is a horrible idea. We need to be honest with her.. she'd be mad if she found out someday we were lying. Trust me. But I'll help guide you some if you want?" I dumped the cup over her head, cleaning the mess and handing her the soap. "Here would you like to clean yourself?"

I nodded, taking the bar from him, but looking at it strangely... "I ... I don't think I like bar soap." I looked up at him, lifting my shoulders in a soft shrug. "I know I don't have the option here, but... do I use body wash or something like that? And a ... oh, what are they called, those little frilly things... mesh type things. Oh, I can't remember." I sighed, starting to wash my body any how. This was way too frustrating for me, not remembering things. "I would like it if you'd guide me. I already asked C if she could help me and I'm going to ask A too, since they're both mothers. But we're Tamara's parents, so you should be able to help me out as much or in a different way than they can, right?"

I knocked on the door to the bathroom, staying on the other side of it. "Dante, I am taking Abigail home for the rest of the night. Andre will be here until I get back."

"A loofa I think is what it's called." I said with a chuckle. "And I don't think I've ever seen you use bar soap before.. so yeah I don't think you like it. You prefer body wash." I heard the knock before I could say anything to what she said. "Sleep well, Jeff. Have a nice night." I told him, listening to his footsteps disappear before looking back at Bianca. "As for Tammy I think you're probably right. And you can help me too.. because even I need help every now and then." I said, standing up and wiping my hands on a towel.

I looked up at him quickly, my heart leaping in my chest. "Are you... Are you leaving?" I didn't want to be alone. I think I really didn't want him to leave.

"Huh? No.. I'm just wiping my hands off and getting your towel ready for you. Don't worry." I said, smiling. "All done in there?"
