My beautiful girl!

I had paid off a nurse at the hospital to call me the very second Dante left and she had come through, calling me early in the morning, which was a good thing because it was cutting it close and Isabella would be out of the hospital soon before I could even talk to her.

But I could today, so that's all that mattered. I fixed my cuff, glancing in Isabella's room, smiling softly when I saw her sitting up. She was even more beautiful than before. She... was... God, perfect. It's why Dante didn't deserve her. He was the reason she wasn't perfect anymore. She was perfect before he showed back up - and now... she was going to get better. Especially since I knew she had no idea who she was, who Dante was.

I pushed the door open, stopping there in the doorway and smiling softly. "Isabella, my beautiful girl, I've been waiting to see those beautiful brown eyes and here they are.." I was going to act as if I had no idea her memory was gone. I shut the door, walking over and hugging her tight before sitting on the bed next to her. "I would have come sooner but I was out of the country and nobody told me... not a single soul called. You think they would... we are getting married, my beautiful pet! I'm so happy you're okay.. when I heard you were shot... oh, my heart.. it broke!" I grabbed her face, smiling softly at her. I knew she thought she was with Dante, but I was going to convince her otherwise.

I was glad to be going home. I didn't know where home was or what it looked like, but I was glad to be leaving the hospital. Dante had brought Tammy around a few times, and she had told me how excited she was I was coming home. I tried to act excited too, but I was too nervous I wasn't going to be a good enough mother for her. I knew A and C were going to help me, but I still wasn't sure I was going to be good at all.

I sat in the bed, looking out the window. Dante hadn't left that long ago, and one of the nurses had been in to help give me a bath, which was awkward to say the least. I much preferred Dante or even A helping me with my baths, but neither of them were around, and I wanted to be all ready to go by the time Dante got back.

The nurse had helped me dress in a lavender dress that Dante had left for me and she had even helped do my hair and makeup. I told her she didn't have to, but she insisted she help me. I had been alone in the room for about 5 minutes when the door opened and this older man walked in. He sat down on the bed, hugging me and I was confused beyond belief.

"Ummm," I started slowly, pulling back more from him. "I don't... I don't know know who you are." I looked at the door, hoping Dante would get back soon before looking back at the man. "And I don't know who Isabella is either. My name is Bianca. And you are?" I didn't know why I was asking who he was when he didn't know my name and I didn't know him, but I asked anyway.

I scrunched up my face, my eyes wide. "Isabella... that's your stage name. I just..." I rubbed my face, standing up. "You don't... remember me?" I put my hand to my chest, closing my eyes. I was going to play this up - act just like the concerned husband. In reality actually the fact she didn't remember was a good thing for me. I opened my eyes, stepping forward toward her back again. "I'm your fiancee Julius... nobody told you about me? I can't believe you don't remember me.."

I shook my head... "I... ummm... My fiance?" I shook my head more, feeling a little uneasy. "Ummm, Dante Castellano is my... My fiance?" My head felt like it was spinning around like ... I don't know... a carousel, is that what those things are called? I couldn't remember ever being on one, and I wasn't completely sure that's what they were called, but I couldn't help but feel like that was the right comparison. "I don't... really?"

"What?" I said quickly, sitting back on the bed with Bianca. "Dante he's not... no.. Dante is a player of mine you dated a while back. He never got over you. You told him it was over and he never took no for an answer. You had to run away from home because he wouldn't stop. And a few months ago at your high school reunion he was there and he went crazy on you and me, and ever since then he's been bothering you again. And I never realized he was my player till that night or I would have never let him on my team!" I meant that completely. "Why do you think your married to that psycho? He's obsessed with you..."

I looked down at my hands that were wringing each other tightly. I didn't know whether or not to believe this man or not, but he seemed sincere. He seemed genuinely upset that no one had told him about me... Maybe he was telling me the truth. I looked up at him, swallowing softly. "I'm... I'm sorry no one told you about me... I'm alright though..."

I reached my hand up, gently touching her cheek. "I'm so glad you are... I would've died without you." I sighed. I tugged my wallet out, flipping it open and showing her the picture of us kissing at the park from a few month ago. "See, I know this isn't much but this... is us... a few months ago in Central Park. We had a picnic and took a long walk. It's right after you said you'd marry me.. you don't remember any of this? You thought you were marrying Dante?"

I nodded my head slowly. "Well... He said we were together. We have a daughter together..." I took the wallet out of his hand, looking at the picture. It was us. This man... Julius and me. I swallowed, looking back up at him. "We're... we're getting married?" It was a lot to take in, but Dante had never shown me pictures of the two of us... Maybe Julius was telling me the truth. I gave him a soft smile, but then I looked down at my hand and back up at him. "Why don't I have a ring?"

"Because it didn't fit. We were getting it fitted for you. The one I bought was too big for your pretty finger." I smiled softly. "As for Dante and his daughter, the little girl has attachment to you because of Dante he's so insane he's convinced the poor girl your her mother. You aren't." I shook my head. "I should have never left you alone! I knew better! This is all my fault!" My face fell, my eyes sad.

I reached out, taking his hand. I could see how badly he was hurting. Pulling him closer to me, I smiled up at him. "It's ok. You're here now." I smiled a little more brightly. "I'm cleared to go home... Did you... Can you take me home?"

I couldn't believe how easy this was... my face rose my smile growing. "Yes! God yes!" I kissed her lips gently, thankful she had left a lot of her stuff at my place. It would be there when she got home and she'd never be wiser. "Let me get the nurse with your release papers." I gave her a kiss on her lips. "I love you, Isabella. I promise Dante will never bother you again!" I couldn't believe her family hadn't visited her... I suppose it was a good thing I wouldn't have to lie about them too.

I smiled, nodding my head. He said I love you... But I couldn't say it back. I didn't know if I did. Maybe I could learn to love him. I thought I could learn to love Dante... But could Julius really be right about him? I kept my smile on my face. "Alright. I'll be here. Not going any place."

"Good," I smiled, walked out of the room and demanded for her release papers. It took a second, most were confused by me being the one to escort her out but gave it anyways. I turned walking back into the room and handing her the clip board. "Just sign this and we can go." I glanced over my shoulder, thanking the lady who brought us a wheel chair. "Thanks." I turned back to Isabella pushing the chair toward her. "Your chariot awaits, beautiful."

I bit my lip, having only signed a B. I didn't know how to spell Bianca. I didn't know what my last name was. So, I just signed a B. I hoped that was good enough for them. Turning, I smoothed my skirt on my dress down and took Julius' hand to help me up and I turned slowly toward the seat. I was still kind of weak. I could walk on my own, but I still felt light headed when I did. "I'm ready. Lets go."

"Yes, mi lady!" I smiled, pushing out of the room and over toward the elevator. I pressed the button, waited till the doors slid open and pushed her inside. I pressed for the ground floor and watched as the elevator doors shut, catching Dante in my site as they did. I smirked. Just in the nick of time.

I came off the elevator, carrying two coffees and a bag of donuts toward Bianca's room. However when I came to an empty room, even the guard gone my heart dropped. "Bianca??" Did she have some sort of set back? Testing that I didn't know about? I turned quickly and stopped a nurse. "Where's Bianca??" She glance at the empty room and raised her eyebrow.

"She's gone. I thought you knew. She signed her release papers and everything." I felt sick to my stomach and had to set down the stuff because it was trembling in my fingers. I was scared of this.. of her running and having no clue who she was. "Where.. where's her guard?" The nurse shrugged. "I thought the man who asked for her release papers was her guard." I took in a shaky breath. At least she wasn't alone..

However Andre came out of the elevator, stopping in mid munch on a bagel. "You're here...." I said slowly... "Where the fuck is Bianca?!?!" His eyes widened. "I.." I growled in anger tugging my phone out and calling Jeff. "You fucking idiot!" I yelled at the guard. "What does 24 hour watch mean to your stupid ass?!?!?" He lowered his head, not saying a word. I turned my back to the idiot and waited for Jeff to answer.

I looked up at Julius as the doors closed. "Can we get some real food. Something ... I don't know, pasta, Italian, something like that? Something real? I'm starving." I knew it was morning and usually places only served breakfast, but I didn't care.

"We sure can. I know this place by my house that serves lunch and dinner 24 hours a day." I kissed her head, pushing her out of the elevator as it opened. I pushed her outside, flagging down a taxi. I helped her stand, my arm tight around her waist and helped her in the car. I got in on the other end, shut my door and told the driver where to go.
